WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG PERFORMERS

No class January 18 (Martin Luther King, Jr., Day)

For 5 weeks potential performers will learn acting technique and voice with musical movement.

Lorry Lepaule (Acting Teacher) brings many years of experience as an actor, teacher, and director with Gloriana Musical Theatre (GMT) as well as Mendocino Theatre Company (MTC) where she also teaches acting to youth. Her many acting credits include roles in MTC's Picnic, Rabbit Hole, and Enchanted April. Lorry has directed GMT's Young Performer's last two shows The AristoCats and Willy Wonka, Jr and will direct this year's production of Alice In Wonderland.

Ana Lucas (Voice Teacher) has her BA in Music and has performed locally with Gloriana Musical Theatre, Mendocino Music Festival, Opera Fresca, Mendocino Theatre Company, and Symphony of the Redwoods. In the San Francisco Bay Area she has sung with Opera San Jose, Pocket Opera, Cinnabar Theater, and she has been a voice teacher for many years. Ana also directed Gloriana’s Dinosaur Musical.


All sessions will be in the Band Room behind Cotton Auditorium. Cotton is located at the corner of Harold and Fir streets in Fort Bragg.

All youth, ages 6 to 14 years are eligible.

$105 per person, $180 for two or more kids in the same family.
