Gloriana Musical Theatre is pleased to offer scholarships to eligible graduating seniors from Fort Bragg High School, Mendocino High School, Mendocino Community School, Mendocino Academy, and Noyo High School.

Scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated excellence in the performing arts and plan to continue in these studies. Each grant is no less than $500 and no greater than $1400 depending upon the number of awardees, as determined by the scholarship committee.  If you wish to apply, see below.

Gloriana presents the 2016 performing arts scholarship recipient Nicole Paravicini.

Nicole Paravicini is graduating from Mendocino Community High School. Nicole has performed in Gloriana shows: The Aristocats, Willy Wonka Jr, Alice in Wonderland Jr, Charlotte's Web, Gloriana's Broadway, Way Off Broadway 2!, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and acting with the Mendocino Theatre Company in A View From the Bridge, The Thirty Nine Steps, and The Last Five Years. She has travelled around the county in the Mendocino County Museum Road Show, sung in operatic productions such as Mendocino Community High School's The Three Penny Opera and Mendocino Chamber Opera's Lovers and Telephones. She played for three years in the Mendocino High School's improvisation club and recently became a member of Hit and Run Theatre's improvisation troupe. Nicole will be attending the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. 


Gloriana Musical Theatre is pleased to announce scholarships available to graduating seniors from Mendocino High School, Mendocino Community High School, Ft. Bragg High School and Noyo High School for the year 2016. These scholarships will be awarded to eligible students who have demonstrated excellence in the Performing Arts and plan to continue these studies. Each grant will be no less than $500 and no greater than $1,400, depending on the number of awardees. The actual amount will be determined by the Scholarship Committee. Applications must include the following information:
1. at least one letter of recommendation from professional(s) in the Performing Arts Field
2. home address and phone number
3. gross family income
4. maximum two page essay explaining:
a. prior participation in Performing Arts activities
b. why it is important to the student to continue in a field of the Performing Arts
c. how student plans to use the scholarship money

Criteria for selection are intention of serious continuation of Performing Arts Studies, prior experience, and financial need. All applications must be spell-checked and proofread before submission. Counselors, please forward applications to the GMT Scholarship Committee whose decisions are final. Selected students will be notified prior to graduation. In order to receive the scholarship money, selected students must show evidence of continuing studies in the Performing Arts (e.g. schedule of college courses, verification of private lessons, etc.) by February 28th of the year following graduation (2017).
